Back at Cosmo’s house, on May 27th 2023, the full product-testing crew was back together! The pictured iteration of Leaf Tree is Mk1 V1.5 with a freshly repaired Hammock Mk 2 (with a lockstitch using twine and a large tapestry needle). We were able to capture Walter climbing up the spiral Leaf arrangement to say hi to Boo, and Walter almost highlighted a “bug” of the Leaf Mk1 design: stepping on the heel of the gravity cleat would have caused the Leaf to drop. 

This behavior hadn’t been replicated by Boo in a long time–he quickly learned not to put his weight on the heel of the cleat since he was using it every day–so having a product-tester with fresh eyes was super valuable in identifying all of the behaviors we were addressing with future iterations.
