While on our roadtrip, Cosmo’s humans had the Leaf Tree Mk1V1.5, and we asked Cosmo’s mom, who is an avid crocheter who has been making the best cat beds from scrap yarn, if she would be able to create a custom hammock insert for the Hammock Leaf—and she certainly delivered! The inventor left a handful of the toggles that were used in the Hammock insert V3, and Cosmo’s mom was able to modify her cat bed design to mount to the Leaf!

Our plan with the launch of Leaf Tree is to offer naked kits and Leafs for our more crafty users to make their own covers from scrap and found materials—saving money and environmental impact! If any of you are super excited about that prospect, and would like to work on customizing a Leaf Tree asap, we are aiming to receive enough initial financing to have a team of product testers to have a wide range of users to push the durability, utility, and functionality of Leaf Tree to its limits! Our one requirement is that you have an animal, or animals, that weigh no more than a Maine Coon (~20lbs) and would enjoy a tree to climb, lounge, and play!
