Removable Leaf Covers

Leaf Tree Mk1 V1.0 was assembled with the priority of testing the proof of concept. This meant that we had to forgo certain features that we knew would be key aspects of the consumer-ready product: such as removable covers.

When the inventor made the new toothed gravity cleats, he took advantage of the new bare Leafs to make the first set of removable covers. The bottom of the cover is one layer of burlap attached to the top, which is two layers of Dream Quilter’s cotton batting under two layers of burlap. The bottom is split down the middle, lined with 1/8-inch grommets, and secured together with jute twine.
