Leaf Tree Mk1 V1.5 has all flat surfaces covered with burlap and cotton batting for a little cushion to provide some give when cats are running, jumping, kneading, falling, rolling, sleeping, and engaging in all of their other amazing behaviors. Cosmo is fond of its lounge-ability, and Boo–a cat who tends to do most of his scratching on flat surfaces (like the carpet)–loves using the base of the tree as his go-to scratching spot!

We’ve decided to nickname the base of the Leaf Tree the “Root System.” Our later iterations of the Leaf Tree provide far more modularity in the updated construction of the base, that it is evolving into a vital aspect of the Leaf Tree system…think forest.
